25 Week Bump

This picture was taken courtesy of Aunt Julie! I wanted to thank everyone who came to the Rome baby shower. I had a blast. I was so good to see everyone and we received the cutest gifts. Supposedly this week Baby Horton is 13 inches long and 1 1/2 pounds. Yeah!

20 Week Bump

I've received requests for bump photos. Here is baby Horton at 20 weeks! We have not yet decided on a name, but hopefully soon we will make up our minds.

It's a boy!

Baby Horton let us know today in all his glory that he was indeed a boy. We are so excited to finally know what we are having. I guess it is time for us to go buy blue and pick a name! John Thomas took some great video at our 18 week ultrasound today. Here is some video of the heartbeat. The other videos will be posted under the Video tab.

Kicking

We are really excited about going to the ultrasound on Wednesday morning. Everyone keep your fingers crossed that we can find out whether this baby is a girl or a boy. The waiting is especially killing John Thomas. lol. Also, I have started feeling the first little kicks from our nugget. The kicks don't happen frequently, but when they do it's a couple at a time. One was surprisingly strong today and made me flinch. It sure was cool. That's all I have for now. Talk to you guys soon, Syd

Baby Gender News

Well we went to get the ultrasound done on Friday. It was awesome! Thanks Christen for giving us such a great gift. The baby was very active and literally was jumping up and down like my bladder was a trampoline. However, we could not get a good look at the money shot. Christen said that she thought it was a 70/30% that we are having a boy. We are going for our big ultrasound on Aug. 11th. It is a very powerful machine and the baby will be bigger. I hope to have a definite answer for ya'll then.

What is the sex?

Hello followers-

It's John Thomas and Sydnie here. We are enjoying a little mini-vacation with our families in Georgia this week. We are having a great time and so grateful for our wonderful friends and families.

For the baby news, it is neat to see Sydnie really start to show. You can really tell after she eats a big meal. Pops out like she is 30 weeks pregnant!! Also, we may get very lucky this week. One of Sydnie's friends Christen is a ultrasound tech (?) and has the ability to give us an ultrasound this Friday that might be able to tell us the sex of our baby. It is not a guarantee that she will be able to tell as we are still only 16 weeks, but of course we will let you know if she tells us. Last time to get your votes in before we find out!!!
